With the special efforts of the President of the society, District Consumer Protection Council was established at Hanumangarh, after repeated communication with the state government, for which he was, made the Honorary member. Taking active part in the meetings the following points were effectively put before the Council. The post of Food Inspector lying vacant and selling of adulterated food products. Workers of PHC sent on deputation, resulting in harassed patients.Exploitation by private bus owners as
rate not fixed.Kerosene distributed to commercial centers resulting in its wastage.

In May 98 RSEB without any prior notice charged the consumers with four years surcharge. As no solution was provided, the society under the leadership of the President staged a peaceful dharna and forced the concerned officials to work for its solution.Repeated loadshedding without any prior notice by the RSEB, a notice was given to the concerned department.

As a last resort the society alongwith the general public started a peaceful campaign for the restoration of the rail services. As a result the officials added two reserved and one ordinary coach for the local people. Starting of a new train in the area is now under consideration. Thus the society under the able leadership of its president has
